What a turkey !

Switzerland-Ukraine was painful to watch, it was the 103rd minute before the first offside ! That MUST be some sort of record. The Swiss could not even score in a penalty shoot out, we need some entertainment and fast.

Ghana are really going to miss Essien today, they struggled without him in the Cup of Nations and he will leave a gaping hole in midfield. I cannot get out of my mind the shambolic defending in the opening game, if the real Brazil turn up, they could be torn to shreds.

Ronaldo's fitness continues to improve, heard that he has lost 5 kilos since the Japan game, think he is still value to score a goal at anything around 2.20. He needs one more to be the all time leading World Cup goalscorer, on his own. As I mentioned in an earlier post, his form in training has been fantastic, now that the goals have come, we can follow "Ronny".

The Samba Stars will be without Robinho and must decide whether to recall Adriano, these are "problems" other coaches only dream about. Think an early goal will be the key today, there are early chances in almost every game, even in last night's debacle, should Brazil take one, Ghana without their "engine" will be forced forward, leaving their suspect defence exposed.

The 90 minute odds for Brazil( 1.28) have no interest, prefer to take them on the ht/ft market, Ghana concede a lot of shots on goal, even giving up 14 to Czech Republic in a match which they dominated, they may pay for that today.

4 points Brazil-Brazil double result 1.82 betfair.

Good Luck.
