England should be fully motivated .......

.... to get Steve McClaren's reign as boss off to a flying start, when they take on Greece at Old Trafford tonight.

The omission of David Beckham, should keep everyone on their toes and it enables England to play both Lampard and Gerrard and still find room for two strikers.

Defoe and Crouch will fill those roles and both have shown good pre season form.

Greece are known for their defensive qualities, but the shape of the team has changed from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2, to allow Georgios Samaras to play up front. The Manchester City striker will meet new England skipper, John Terry again at the weekend, when his club face Chelsea.

I expect an open game, Greece are set to experiment with their formation and tactics, England will be looking for goals and a display to help the nation forget the dire World Cup performances.
3 points over 2.5 goals England-Greece 2.14 betfair.

Good Luck.
