ST PATRICK'S - CORK CITY .....

... meet in the Irish Premier division tonight. The hosts have little to play for and may well have one eye on Lansdowne Road in three weeks time and their appearance in the Cup Final.

The Saints are without two starters and two more are hoping to have recovered from knocks, in time to play.

Cork have to go all out for the win and nothing less, victory will keep their slim Championship and slightly fatter European hopes alive. Actually, these chances are improved by virtue of the fact that their final two outings, are against the teams currently above them in the table, Shelbourne and Derry.

Cork are Ireland's inform side and have lost only once in 18 starts, going back to early summer.

They did lose on their last visit to Richmond Park, putting in what they claim was their worst performance of the season, but had won the previous 4 meetings without conceding a single goal.
I expect them to collect three hard fought points.

Because the draw has very limited value to Cork, the increased odds for the straight win hold more appeal than giving up a 1/4 ball on the asian line. Hope that is clear, remember, you are always welcome to ask me questions at anytime, or to correct me on anything, my wife does it all the time. You can use either the comments facility or my email address, which can be found on my complete profile page.

3 points Cork City -1/2 ball 2.28 betfair/ 2.30 paddy power.

Back shortly.

Good Luck.
