REAL SOCIEDAD-GIMNASTIC

The Basque hosts are drinking in the last chance saloon. Anything less than 3 points today, will leave them adrift at the foot of the table and some 8 points from safety.

They have put in three, greatly improved performances in their most recent outings and only some heroics from the Barcelona goalkeeper, kept the European Champions in the game last week, when Real looked the better side for long periods and were unlucky 1-0 losers.

During training this week, they have looked very good and positive and I have emphasized before, how important these sessions can be. Think that they have rediscovered some self belief.

Both sides are missing players today, but on paper, they look to be more important to the visitors.

Gimnastic have conceded the most goals in La Liga and are many people's idea of the weakest team in the division, Real will be looking to prove them right.

4 points Real Sociedad -1/2 ball asian line 1.86.

Lee Westwood produced the goods in our golf bet, eventually beating Cabrera by 4 strokes. Of course nothing is ever easy and he gave us a few scares along the way, having been at least 4 ahead since Thursday, the gap closed to one (!) for a hole .

Back later.

Good Luck.
