LA LIGA ........

Not for the first time I have just "lost" my preview of the Santander-Sociedad game ....... aaarghhh ! ..... is that spelt correctly ?

Sociedad were my selection, in a nutshell, they have a fantastic record here, 7-3-1 in 10 starts, not losing since 1998. Are in good form, losing just once in 8 matches and that very unluckily in a 1-0 defeat at Barcelona.

They have given theirselves a real chance of survival, from a seemingly hopeless position. With Valencia, Seville and Real Madrid in 3 of their next 4 starts, they HAVE to keep the good run going today. Three new signings this week for the Basque club and others promised, so competition for places, has gone up a level.

Santander have only won 3 at home, scoring just 8 goals, half of which came in one game, so averaging 0.57 in the others.

Real should not come away empty handed.

Also like a bet in the Bilbao-Villarreal match, where both sides have problems. This will mean the visitors new young signing, Matias Fernandez, who we discussed at length last week....

playing in an advanced role, against a weakened defence.

We can chance a little on him getting on the scoresheet.

4 points Real Sociedad +1/4 ball 1.92 Betdaq.

0.25 Fernandez to score first Bilbao-Villarreal 15.0 Bet 365.

2 points Fernandez to score at anytime 5.0 Bet 365, very big looking price.

Good Luck.
