TADD FUJIKAWA .....

Who ? Has been making a very big name for himself in the Sony Open, taking place at the Waialae Country Club.

The Hawaiian, who only turned 16 on Monday, became the 2nd youngest player in history to make a PGA Tour cut.

He shot a second successive 66 yesterday, to move into a tie for 8th place ahead of the final round.

The tiny Fujukawa, who at 5'-1 ( 1.55m, hope my conversion is correct) is dwarfed by his opponents, but certainly not overawed, is the youngest to make a cut in almost 50 years.

Sure that we will hear more of him in the coming years, however, he is due back at school on Tuesday.

When I was at school, you hung out with your friends in the holidays, now you sail single handedly round the world, or tear up the PGA Tour !

Back shortly.
