BARCELONA - RACING SANTANDER

The return of Lionel Messi, who is finally fit and will take his place on the bench, alongside another long term injured player, in Samuel Eto'o, will give the club a massive boost. Both are likely to see a little playing time.

Ronaldinho will start, after missing last week's scoreless draw at Osasuna and the squad is slowly returning to full strength, bad news for the rest of Europe.

Victory today will enable them to open up a 3 point lead at the top of La Liga. With Valencia away next week, shortly followed by Seville and then Real Madrid, plus the resumption of Champions League football, a win over Racing is seen as essential.

Barce won the reverse fixture 3-0 and have taken the last 9 h2h matches, 5 of them by 2 or more goals.

Santander are, unusually for them, in mid table safety, but have problems tonight, with both first choice strikers, top scorer Dragan Zigic and Pedro Munitis, suspended.

All the pluses are with the hosts, who should emerge comfortable winners.

4 points Barcelona -1.5 goals 1.76 asian line.

Good Luck.
