QUICK TENNIS UPDATE ....

I have two tennis bets, which involve players we have discussed in depth recently, so no need to go into great detail.

In Antwerp, Amelie Mauresmo has been priced very short for her meeting with Dinara Safina. The Frenchwoman leads their h2h 3-1, but they are tied 1-1 indoors and we can reasonably expect a close game today. Mauresmo is not firing on all cylinders yet and Safina looks to have recovered from her thigh problems. Strongly feel the Russian will take a set and so, a lay of the favourite winning in two , looks the order of the day.

Let's switch to the ATP tournament in Marseille, I am still not convinced about the form of Jarkko Nieminen and think he will have trouble with another Frenchman, Julien Benneteau today. The home based player, put out number 5 seed David Ferrer yesterday, winning 53 of 79 points in the last two sets.

lay 3 points Mauresmo win 2-0 sets 1.97 Betfair.

3 points Benneteau to beat Nieminen 2.18 Betfair.

Good Luck.
