ACCRINGTON STANLEY - TORQUAY UNITED

Life can be good, or at least cheap, even at the foot of Division 2.

Admission is FREE for all to this "six pointer" today, along with reduced "beer prices".

Do not see what more the home team can do, apart from win some matches, to attract the crowds, attendances for their return to League football have been poor. The hosts are without 5 players today.

I really like the visitors in this must win game, they sit bottom of the table 6 points from safety and Stanley. However, they have been boosted by recent performances, especially last weeks
3-0 win, over promotion chasing Wycombe.

Torquay have added 5 young players on loan to the squad in recent weeks, all are from clubs much higher up the league ladder and these signings are now paying dividends. Lloyd Kerry-Sheffield United and Marvin Williams-Millwall have done particularly well and are players for the future.

The Gulls will have a large travelling support, cheering them on, no doubt tempted by the cheap beer. A draw will offer little hope to their survival chances, so I expect them to look for all three and make them a strong bet.

5 points Torquay United -1/2 ball 3.45 Expekt.
