CONFERENCE ............

Going to discuss two matches in the Conference, where there is still an awful lot to play for.

First up is the Aldershot-Weymouth game, we have opposed the hosts twice recently, with the view that their season was winding down and that the manager's reign, looked to be coming to an end.

Not too much has changed to alter that view, especially now that Terry Brown has resigned and tonight is his final match in charge, you get all the news here first !

This was the quote from last week ........

I listened to an interview with their coach Terry Brown this morning, he stated that a "draw is no good to anybody" and that his team, especially the defence, had not really gelled this season. In a reflective conversation, it sounded as though his time at the club was coming to an end. just get the impression that this is a team treading water at present and one that we can readily oppose.

I expect them to play an open game, try to entertain the fans and give the well liked Brown, a nice send off.

Tonight's visitors need the win, they sit 4 points and three places, off the play-off spots and, with their free scoring approach, will definitely go for it. Therefore I am confident in taking the "over", Weymouth's last 10 games have produced 35 goals and this should provide plenty of entertainment.

Next up, I am taking Exeter, who have never lost in nine Conference meetings with Forest Green Rovers, to retain that record. This is something of a local derby and the visitors are the regions "big wigs", being very well supported at this level.

City are in the final play-off spot, but just on goal difference and will be looking for 3 points, especially as the team immediately below them in the table, have two home games this week.

I really like this one with the level ball option.

4.5 points over 2.5 goals Aldershot-Weymouth 1.83 asian line. Result 1-0 - 4.5 points

4.5 points Exeter City level ball asian line 1.86. lost 2-1 -4.5 points

Good Luck.
