MORECAMBE - ALDERSHOT ........ CONFERENCE

Morecambe are traditionally a very strong home side, this season their away form has been excellent, with 10 wins on the road. So, it goes without saying, that results at their Christie Park home have disappointed, it is called Murhy's Law.

Tonight, they host an Aldershot side that are very unpredictable. The visitors are 7-1-9 on the road and will be forced to go for the 3 points, as anything less, will leave their slim promotion hopes in tatters. They will be without the competitive Ricky Newman and will miss his contribution.

I listened to an interview with their coach Terry Brown this morning, he stated that a "draw is no good to anybody" and that his team, especially the defence, had not really gelled this season. In a reflective conversation, it sounded as though his time at the club was coming to an end. just get the impression that this is a team treading water at present and one that we can readily oppose.

Think that Sammy McIIroy, will have his Morecambe side up for this one, they sit in 6th place in the table, 2 points and one place outside the play-off places. Just behind Burton, who they visit at the weekend. They really need this win and should be better suited by the conditions at the cold, wet and windy seaside resort.

4 points Morecambe -1/2 ball 1.98 asian line. RESULT WON 2-1 + 3.92 POINTS

Good Luck.
