OXFORD UNITED-FOREST GREEN ROVERS

I am going to start today in the Conference.

Jim Smith's Oxford are very motivated to get the 3 points and put some pressure on Dagenham at the top. The Daggers currently lead by a healthy looking 8 points, but it has been bigger and with another home game on Tuesday and the leaders not playing, it could be down to two, come wednesday morning. In addition, Dagenham have still to come to the Kassam Stadium later this month.

After a terrible slump, the hosts have won 4 in a row and once again, have a determined look about them, this return to form has coincided with the signing of Michael Corcoran from Cardiff and a switch to 4-4-2, which the whole team seem more comfortable with.

Last home game Oxford beat Stevenage 2-0, the stats for this match were mightily impressive, with the hosts winning the attempts on goal count 17-1, to restrict one of the Conference's best sides to just one shot in 90 minutes, is fantastic.

They won the reverse fixture 5-1 and I think a revitalised U's team will win comfortably today.

No disrespect to FGR who are in decent enough form, but this is all about how the hosts perform, as, on paper, they are far superior to any non league team in the country.

5 points Oxford -1 ball asian line 2.22.

Good Luck.
