PARTICK THISTLE- ST JOHNSTONE

The teams in Scotland really get to know each other, with 4 league meetings and the chance to meet in several other, domestic cup competitions.

St Johnstone have certainly had the better of this match up recently, winning the 3 previous fixture, including a home tie, just 3 days ago. The earlier match at Partick, was a rout for Saints, who were emphatic 5-1 victors, racing to a two goal lead in just 6 minutes.

They are very keen to make it a clean sweep and close the gap on Gretna at the top, to a manageable 6 points. The top two have still to play each other, but anything less than 3 points, will leave them with a mountain to climb.

Captain, Kevin James, is very doubtful for the visitors, but should still have enough about them to take to spoils.

4 points St Johnstone -1/2 ball 2.0 general.
Good Luck.
