TOMMY HAAS - ANDREW MURRAY

This is a very interesting match up, between two of the inform players on the ATP Tour.

The two have never met in a competitive tournament, although they have practised together, on a semi regular basis.

Haas is having his best run, since he was ranked number 2 in the world and has yet to drop serve in this event.

Murray received a little criticism for his performance in his win over Davydenko, this is crazy ! He beat the #4 ranked player in straight sets and still some people are not happy. The British youngster really wanted the win, there was a little bad feeling from an earlier meeting and he came up with the ideal tactics, to earn the victory. It is called "winning ugly" and Murray's coach, Brad Gilbert, made a career out of it and called his best selling book........... Winning Ugly: Mental Warfare in Tennis- Lessons from a Master.

That tells you all you need to know about Gilbert and, his young charge, is out of the same mould. Murray needed to toughen up and get fitter and he has done both, he already has a tennis brain and if he is going to put pressure, if not on Federer, then Nadal, these are the type of matches he needs to win on a regular basis.

These are the sort of prices that will not be seen about Murray much longer, except against Fed-ex, I suggest we take a piece while we can, this slowish, Plexipave hard court, suits him well.

3 points Murray to beat Haas 2.42 Betfair.

Good Luck.
