THE TWO ANDY'S .............

..... meet today, for the third time in 2007, in a rivalry that is set to run and run. I understand that messrs Roddick and Murray are not the greatest of pals, that probably has something to do with their respective coaches, who have some "history".

This season's mini series is tied at 1-1, with both wins coming in two , very close sets.

The Scot is looking to reach his 3rd final, of what looks set to be, his breakthrough year on tour, he is 22-4 so far and could move into the top 10 with a strong performance in Miami.

Murray rode his luck in a 3 set win over Paul-Henri Mathieu yesterday, saving 2 match points, he complained about the early start, which he offered as explanation, for a sluggish first set. In other words he is a typical teenager, who doesn't like to get up in the mornings !

These two are due a 3 setter and I strongly feel we will get it today. Whilst looking into this match, I came across some interesting stats.

In Miami, where the high bouncing, Laykold Cushion hardcourt, should suit Murray, Roddick has struggled, with 7 of his 13 wins going the distance.

When combined with the fact that Murray's improved fitness levels, have helped him win ALL 8 of his 3 set matches this year, we have the makings of a nice bet.

I am going to suggest a largish bet on Murray to win in three sets, with a "saver" on Roddick to do likewise.

4 points Murray to beat Roddick 2-1 sets 4.69 Pinnacle Sports. Result bet void Roddick retired
1.5 points Roddick to beat Murray 2-1 sets 4.40 Betfair.

Good Luck.
