ROGERS CUP TENNIS .... UNIPRIX STADIUM .... MONTREAL

LLEYTON HEWITT - JUAN CARLOS FERRERO

JCF switched back to his favoured clay courts after Wimbledon, but likes these hardcourts and at least has a few recent matches under his belt. His record in Montreal is a fair 7-3 and he has run into a few big names en route.

However, this is more of an ante Hewitt bet, the aussie has not played since Wimbledon and normally starts his return to the North American hardcourt slowly, whether that is by choice, or through lack of match practice, I can only speculate.

Last year he took 4 weeks off after Wimbledon and returned to lose in the first round to Paul Goldstein in straight sets. It was a similar case in 2005, when he retired here in the first set to Serra. In both years he followed up with decent results in the US Open and tournaments immediately beforehand.

This time round he has had around 5 weeks off and returns at Montreal, where he has a very poor 2-3 record, so I definitely feel he must be opposed today.

Hewitt leads the h2h 4-2, but they are tied 1-1 on outdoor hardcourts and there are no recent meetings.

5 points Ferrero to beat Hewitt 3.00 Ladbrokes// Centrebet , similar odds chould be available on the exchanges.

Good Luck.
