DIVISION 1 ............

NOTTINGHAM FOREST - CARLISLE UNITED

Both sides can go second in the table with victory tonight, a massive incentive, each is without a couple of key players, but the losses are likely to be much harder felt by the visiting Cumbrians.

They do not have the strength in depth of Forest and are not only without top scorer Joe Garner, but also his replacement Scott Dobie, who is on loan from the home side.

Carlisle have only scored 7 away goals since early October and Garner and Dobie have notched 5 of those. They have just one away win in 11 starts, that coming last time out at struggling Crewe, where they were very fortunate to collect maximum points. They have failed to score in 7 of those 11 fixtures.

Forest are unbeaten in 4 and are very strong at home, where they have not lost in 15 starts, winning 11 and have not conceded in around 400 minutes of football. They have stuck with boss Colin Calderwood, when many have clubs would have
shown him the door, that loyalty is now paying dividends and I expect them to win this evening.

5.5 points Nottingham Forest -1/2 ball 1.86 general quote.

Good Luck.
