Therefore, they could close to nine with a win, my understanding is ,that they are very confident of getting at least 5 points back, which would reduce the deficit to just four. With a superior goal difference and their final three fixtures against teams in the bottom 8, this would give them a live chance of promotion, without suffering the play-off lottery. This scenario would put a lot of pressure on Carlisle, who entertain Southend, who are a team in great form, at the weekend. I expect a very motivated Leeds side to do their part this evening.
