IT IS EARLY THURSDAY MORNING ...........

I told you yesterday that I had sent subscribers previews of three matches. To be honest, I was short of time, so my comments were a little briefer than normal, but I had still done my homework and all three won. The email is reproduced in full below and made almost 18 points profit.

I had two new sign ups overnight, so this was the first newsletter they had received, a $17 unit stake would have already more than covered the cost of subscription for three months ! Longer, if taking advantage of one of the recent special offers.

This is an exceptional service, it will not win every day, that is impossible and there will be losing periods, but it will educate , inform and has never made a loss in any 13 week period. This is why we are moving to a three month minimum subscription period, so that everyone can see the true value of the content.

There is a lot of information on the website, including results, an archive with over 300 daily emails available to read, a Q&A section and lots more, take a look.

WEDNESDAY JULY 30TH

I only have 20 minutes to type and send this, so will have to keep things fairly brief.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
SECOND ROUND QUALIFICATION

ANORTHOSIS FAMAGUSTA - RAPID VIENNA

Hosts have been made quite strong favourites in Asia and I have to say that I agree with that. The conditions in Famagusta are going to be brutal, with very high temperatures and humidity. Anotthosis will have a sell out crowd cheering them on and coach Temuri Ketsbaia, has been given the backing of his board and signed a couple of star names. Most famous is Greek national hero Dellas , whose experience will be vital at the centre of defence, Nolberto Solano is also said to be about to sign, maybe already has, but I have not yet seen confirmation and he will not play in any case, but it gives some idea of their ambition. Rapid could live with a narrow defeat, which seems the most likely outcome for me and is competitively priced.

4 points Anorthosis -1/2 ball 2.50 general quote. WON 3-0

CLUB FRIENDLY
NOTTINGHAM FOREST - SUNDERLAND

This is being shown live on television and Forest will be hoping for better luck in front of the cameras, as their record in televised games is dire. They are likely to start new signing Andy Cole up front on his debut and he will be anxious to score against his former club and team mate (Roy Keane). Cole and Robert Earnshaw, could form a very potent partnership at Championship level this season, if they "click". Forest drew 1-1 with Everton at the weekend, but were fortunate not to lose, the Premiership side dominated proceedings and created a lot of chances.

Sunderland have a number of new signings and have impressed in pre season, Teemu Tainio has already started and Pascal Chimbonda and El-Hadji- Diouf (cue booing) look set to make their debuts this evening. Kieran Richardson has rededicated himself to the game and has lost a lot of weight in the off season, during which he worked incredibly hard, we should see the best of him tonight and this season. I am siding with the Black Cats.

5 points Sunderland -1/4 ball ( asian line odds not released yet). WON 1-0

NORTH AMERICA SUPERLIGA
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION - ATALANTE

Following Houston's win yesterday, I am going to stick with another US side to set up an "all american" final in Superliga. Revolution are very close to being the best MLS side and have already seen off two Mexican sides at the Gillette Stadium in this competition, Santos Laguna and Pachuca, both by 1-0 scorelines. There was a little good fortune in each, but at least they won and the US clubs are no longer "running scared" of their southern neighbours.

Atalante have done well to reach this stage, after an opening day thumping (4-0) by Houston. I feel that the MLS teams are stronger this year and the schedule has once again helped, NE have not played for ten days, the Mexican side had to fly home to Cancun for their domestic opener at the weekend. This is the second meeting between these two this year, Revolution met Atlante on their pre season tour and things got a little heated, with 9 yellow cards and three players sent off, which is almost unheard of in a friendly. The home team won 1-0, but New England had the better chances and obviously will want to put the record straight, as well as earn their share of the big prize money on offer here. This could easily boil over again and odds about another red card could pay dividends, but I will take the home team to progress.

6 points New England -1/4 ball 1.93 asian line. WON 1-0 NE were the subject of a massive gamble, backed down to circa 1.68.

Good Luck.
