DIVISION 2

ROCHDALE - BURY

Despite claiming otherwise, it is hard to say anything other than Rochdale are suffering a playoff hangover from last season, when they went so close to finally climbing out of this division. They are a decent outfit and will get things right sooner or later, but have only scored against struggling Barnet in four starts and even fell behind in that game.

Today they host local rivals Bury, who have a 100% record and have impressed all watchers, including many Burnley fans, who despite winning their cup tie 2-0, felt that their Championship side were lucky to earn the win. They beat Brentford 1-0 on the opening day of the season and the Bees have won twice since, with a 5-0 goal difference. They have had much the better of their neighbours in this fixture in recent years and are unbeaten in six visits, winning four, infact, the last 30 meetings between these two have produced just 3 home wins ! Hosts remain without two key defenders and I have to side with the unchanged visitors, their supporters will make up almost 40% of the crowd and they can make the very short journey home ,happy.

6 points Bury +1/4 ball 2.13 asian line.

Good Luck.
