UEFA CUP .............

FC METALIST KHARKIV - HERTHA BERLIN

Metalist are a team looking to break into the top two monopoly of Shakhtar and Dynamo in Ukraine. They have a wealthy owner, if bankers can still be considered wealthy and he has invested heavily . Their ground is being significantly upgraded and will be one of the stadiums used for Euro 2012, they have finished third in the league two seasons running and are hoping to improve on that this time round, currently lying second in the table. Last year was only their second ever in Europe and they lost out in two very close games to Everton. This year they have already thumped high flying Turkish side Besiktas 4-1 at home, where they are very strong, they are 5-1-0 domestically with a 13-2 goal diffence and have lost just four of their last 36, conceding an average of just 0.6 goals per game.

In Jaja from Brazil and Marko Devic, they have two inform, impressive strikers (just ask Besiktas), who look set to give the Hertha defence, which conceded five at Bremen last weekend, a very long evening. Aside from Hoffenheim, few German sides have impressed me this season and I am happy to oppose Hertha, especially on the road. Home win.

5 points Metalist -1/4 ball 2.00 asian line.

Good Luck.
