WSOP FINAL TABLE ........... DOWN TO JUST TWO

After some 14 hours play and just 169 hands of poker, the November Nine are down to just two. Denmark's Peter Eastgate is chip leader with 79.5 m in chips, from Russian Ivan Demidov, who trails with 57.72 m. However, with blinds at 300-600k there is still an awful lot of poker to play when these two young guns return at 10pm local time tonight, for the shoot out, with the winner walking away with $9.15 m. The second placed finisher will have to console himself with just the $5.8m !

It is very hard to get away from the feeling that the cream has risen to the top and that these two were the best players at the final table. Demidov has already improved upon his third placed finish at the WSOPE main event, just a month ago and that experience will continue to serve him well. Eastgate has the opportunity to become the youngest winner in main event history, beating out Phil Hellmuth, which will not go down too well with the "Poker Brat".

Back Later.
