YOUNG FERGIE HAS PLENTY OF FIREPOWER AT HIS DISPOSAL ..........

ENGLAND FA CUP

HORNCHURCH - PETERBOROUGH

Over recent seasons I have noticed a big advantage for League sides playing non league opponents on a Sunday. I am not quite sure why that is so, but suspect that they have seen what can happen the day before and the humiliation suffered by fellow league teams, is still fresh in their minds, making them far more focused. Boro are a team on the up and Sir Alex's son Darren Ferguson is making a big name for himself in the game. After promotion last season, when they were very big spenders, they sit just three points off the top of Division 1 and more than four divisions higher than Hornchurch, who are currently 15th in the Ryman Premier. Hosts normally play in front of 250 people in East London, today the crowd will be ten times that, with around 1,100 travelling from Peterborough.

Ferguson is treating his opposition with respect and is likely to only make one or two changes, his defence, will remain unchanged, a good decision and they have collected a huge amount of confidence, from an eleven match unbeaten run in the league. They have plenty of players with non league experince in their ranks so this will not really be a trip into the unknown and they scored freely in the early rounds of this competition last season, including five against Staines, currently second in the same league as Hornchurch. Boro are prolific in front of goal and have amassed a Football league high total of 122 attempts on target this season. I think that after the likely early onslaught from the home side, this very big class difference will become apparent and I expect a comfortable away win.

6.5 points Peterborough -1.25 ball asian line 2.02.

Good Luck.
