PRETTY IN PINK ..............

DIVISION 1

OLDHAM ATHLETIC - LEEDS UNITED

You might need sunglasses if you are going to be watching this one, as Oldham are going to be playing in all pink !

This is to raise awareness of breast cancer and the club and especially players, should be praised for taking such a brave step, hope the "banter" is kept to a minimum. The team captain, who showcased the strip on television recently, looked very embarassed !

Top scorer Jermaine Beckford scored twice at the weekend and there can be little doubt that United are a better team when he plays, winning 15 of 25 games, or 60%, when he starts. I do not want to desert such a prolific goalscorer , who did us a huge favour at the weekend, especially in such great form and live on television, which seems to further inspire him and I have to take a little in the anytime goalscorer market.

I expect this to be quite open and to produce a few goals. The visitors draw very few matches, just three all season, including only one of 16 road starts and will be looking for the win that would take them above Oldham and into fourth spot in the table. Oldham's home starts have averaged over 2.75 goals this season and they are struggling to keep a clean sheet, they again miss keeper Mark Crossley and have conceded two in each of their last three starts. Robinson and Howson are missing for the visitors, but they have a huge squad and the returning Becchio to give them an additional offensive threat.

5 points "over" 2.5 goals 2.09 asian line.

2 points Jermaine Beckford to score anytime 2.75 + .... 3.0 Corals.

Back later.
