SLADE TO GET BRIGHTON ROCKING ....

BRIGHTON - YEOVIL TOWN

I am very keen on Brighton today. They are in big trouble at the foot of the table, six points adrift of safety, but with a game in hand on the teams immediately above them in the table, one of whom is Yeovil, so three points today would be huge.

New boss Russell Slade will certainly not lack motivation, facing the club he "left" just a few weeks ago, many people, including a lot of Yeovil fans, consider that he was badly treated. The club were on a four match unbeaten run at the time and have collected just two points from a possible 18, since he left.

Slade will know as much as anyone about the visitors and will have had a full week to get to know his new squad and equally importantly, for his five new loan signings to have settled in. The team have shown promise in his two games in charge, losing a close game to Orient and conceding twice almost as time expired to red hot Southend in midweek, they should be fully committed to the cause today. These two clubs have created the fewest attempts on goal, of any team in this division, but Brighton have amassed 50 more and also hit the woodwork a Football league high 22 times this season, I just wonder how many more points they would have collected, if just half of those had gone in ! Four of their next five starts are away from home and this is almost last chance saloon time for the south coast side. Home win.

6.5 points Brighton -1/2 ball 2.20 general quote.

Good Luck.
