SUNDAY MORNING ....

I was a little slow with the email today, as I went to a game yesterday and everything got delayed, it is very rare for me to watch a match on a Saturday nowadays, as it throws everything off and takes so long to update what I have missed ! However, back on track now.

Sent subscribers previews of six matches, with seven selections and will be posting some of these on the blog later today.

Brentford should be very pleased with the way things went yesterday, despite being held to a point by Wycombe, their closest challengers. Not only did it maintain their seven point lead at the top of the table, but results elsewhere (only Exeter amongst the top nine won), meant that their overall position was strengthened. Being involved in a six goal thriller, in front of their biggest league crowd for several seasons, is also going to help the Griffing Park turnstiles and coffers ticking over ! OK, no more on the Bees for today.

Liverpool might not have exactly blown the EPL title race wide open, with their 4-1 win at Old Trafford, but they certainly rekindled interest and it might still develop into what it looked like being earlier in the season, a battle down to the wire, we will see !

Finally, a word of warning, any previews on the blog today will be fairly brief and contain just basic reasoning, so if that is not what you are looking for, you might need to look elsewhere, but I still expect a few winners !

Good Luck.
