VITAL GAME IN THE CATALAN CAPITAL .....

ESPANOL - MALLORCA

This is Espanol's cup final, or the first of twelve finals, as it has been termed by the Catalan side.

Since the return of several senior players from long term injuries, recent performances, all against top sides, have vastly improved. Last week they were very unfortunate to lose at Villarreal 1-0, where they created 14 attempts on goal and missed a penalty.

At aroundthe same time, Mallorca were somehow earning a point, from three goals down at home to Betis, with just 19 minutes to play. The Islanders have a terrible record in this fixture and have lost on their last seven visits, conceding two or more goals in each.

The home coach has few doubts about how vital this game is and earlier in the week said: “It’s not just another game. It’s transcendental and vital for our hopes come the 31st of May.”

Pochettino added that “the team keeps growing but the results are important because we don’t have time to say that another will come in a month or two. If we analyse the games you see that we’ve been superior but football, at times, is heads or tails. We aren’t going to go off this route because we have no doubt that we’re going to win.”

Expect the visitors to be very motivated and go all out for the win.

6.5 points Espanol -1/2 ball 2.23 asian line.

Good Luck.
