FA CUP .............

MANCHESTER UNITED - LEEDS UNITED

There is traditionally a very big rivalry between these two and one the visiting supprters will be hopeful of renewing on a regular basis in the future, with the glory days set to return to Elland Road. This will be a welcome chance for them to be the underdog for a change, after every week for the last three seasons meeting a motivated opponent, playing their "cup final" with a game against "mighty Leeds".

As soon as Brentford were promoted last season, the main topic of conversation amongst Bees fans, was the games against United and especially the trip to Elland Road (March 6 by the way !). Clubs and supporters get really "up" for these games and that is what Leeds have to face week after week and it has been mentally tough for them and something they have only really come to terms with this season.

Sir Alex will not want to lose this one of course, but will surely rotate his squad, ahead of the derby meeting with City in the Carling Cup semi-final in midweek. To say nothing of his main targets, the EPL and Champions League.

Suspect all the noise will be from the visiting supporters with circa 10,000 set to be in the stadium and the players will be looking to prove themselves, especially those (JB ?) looking to seal a move in the transfer window.

Think the home side will settle for a win of any description and will be happy to escape what might be a full blooded encounter unscathed, the visitors are going to scrap all the way and look decent value getting more than a goal start.

6.5 points Leeds United + 1.75 goals 1.95 asian line.

Good Luck.
