WEDNESDAY ....

I hope that you have all been checking out the previews on Facebook (see link to the left), this was posted yesterday .....

Preston North End v Middlesbrough

Boro looked good in a 2-1 win at Championship leaders on Friday night, with Lukas Jutkiewicz coming into the side for his first start of the season and scoring both goals. The young Polish striker scored nine goals before Christmas in a struggling Coventry City side last season and now looks ready to make a big contribution for boss Tony Mowbray, who was really

enthusiastic about the offensive options he now has.

Marvin Emnes, Merouane Zemmama, Mustapha Carayol and Josh McEachran give them a real classy look going forward , Jonathan Woodgate has been immense at the back, but left the field on Friday and will not be risked tonight. However, having got so much confidence from the win , they will want to build on that and keep the momentum up and it has also increased competition for starting places, especially amongst the strikers. The extra 20 hours or so recovery time is pretty key too, as it meant they could have a full day's training on Sunday.

Preston's early season promise has tailed off a little, they lost 2-1 here to Crawley recently and it could have been 5-1 and conceded three at an average, albeit over achieving at the moment, Walsall team at the weekend, they did put five past Hartlepool inbetween, but Pool gifted them two early goals there.

North End are still a work in progress and Boro should be up to winning this and have not lost to a L2 team in almost three decades in the League Cup.

Boro won comfortably and there were also two other previews on there over the weekend, one winning selection and another where we were cruelly robbed late in the match.

The GOWI Twitter page @clubgowi  LINK is proving very popular and is extremely active with some one line snippets from my email service on there most days.

Please try and check them all out.

However, the only place where you can get to read all the content is the email service and you can read full details of that on this LINK.

Good Luck.
