City are in good shape having won 7 of their last 10 starts, including their last three, they will have to switch things around tonight with goalkeeper David Stockdale (5-0-0) having been recalled from loan by parent club Fulham and manager's son and  central defender Alex Bruce (18-0-0) , picking up a red card and suspension in the win over Huddersfield last week. They have good and experienced cover in both positions, keeper Ben Amos has already made 17 starts for the Tigers this season and both he and Eldin Jakupovic will be hungry, having sat on the bench for the last month, so neither loss should be considered key.

The Bruce situation is mirrored on the other side of the pitch with Rams central defender Jake Buxton (16-2-1) picking up a knee injury in the win at Leeds United, already missing captain Shaun Barker , they are very short in this position, Mark O’Brien filled the gap in the road win at struggling Bristol City, but that was his first start in over a year, he suffered badly late in the game with what appeared to be cramp and probably needs a match or two more to find full fitness, I do not think he would be playing, or even be considered this week, if Buxton was fit. Striker Jamie Ward (8-4-5) remains out with his long term injury.

County are an impressive 6-4-1 at Pride Park, but only one of those wins came against a top ten team and "victims" had an average league placing of 14.17. City, who boast the best away record in the Championship are the toughest test the hosts have faced so far and they have to do so with a suspect central defence. The Tigers were very impressive in recent wins at Forest and in form Watford, particularly the former, with opposing boss Sean O'Driscoll, who rarely praises his opponent saying "It was a tight game but they are a decent outfit who play good football and are difficult to play against. " That is akin to him saying they are world beaters !

Leicester City lost 1-0 at home to Cardiff City on Saturday, which means they come here with almost 24 hours less recovery time, which will be important given the quick turnaround . The Foxes have collected 12 points from their last ten starts, the Tigers 22 over the same sequence and with the visitors having won just three on the road, it is hard to agree with them being made favourite for this game.1.75 units Hull City level ball 2.00 asian line.
