Laziness ....

I have just posted an update on the clubgowi website. Those original posts were sent to subscribers last June and updated through the summer, while everyone else was on a break, I was working hard. Now we are approaching payback time, hard work rarely goes unrewarded somewhere down the line and when I don't really want to get out of bed to watch J-League football at 06.00, especially when I have been up until the early hours following MLS or Brazilian matches, I remind myself of that.

I am fairly laid back ( except when I am inside Griffin Park), losers do not worry me, they are inevitable when you gamble, the only thing that really annoys me is laziness, there are no short cuts and when people tell me they are going to gamble full time and are not prepared to put in more hours than they would for a normal job, or to pay someone to help with the workload, I know it can never work out for them. It also annoys me, not that they can't be arsed to work, or pay (either with time or money) for information , that is up to them, but that they still expect to make money and want to complain when they don't.

I work **** hard, if I read that x is suspended or y  injured, I cannot just accept it, I have to check it out for myself and preferably in two places, yes that makes me anal, but it also makes me thorough and often I find out things that no one else knows, or which everyone else has misunderstood, or got wrong. I cannot just read that Sedan , Bahia or Torquay are playing well or poorly, I have to see it with ny own eyes, either online, or live. I didn't want to go to watch Wycombe Wanderers two weeks ago, especially on a freezing cold night, when Brentford were at home, but I felt it was the right thing to do, so I went and it has paid off, with the information I picked up producing two winners since then.

That is why I win every year.

This is how you can too.

Good Luck.

Don't get left behind.......... check out the clubgowi newsletter service

Ligue 2 : Dijon- Monaco

We discussed the visitors ahead of their 2-0 win at Arles two weeks ago....

Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri has once again been allowed to spend big and in the last ten days has signed three Ligue 1 players, defensive midfielder Mounir Obbadi (19-2-0 from Troyes), striker Emmanuel Rivière (18-4-1 ...Toulouse) and central defender Carl Medjani (19-1-2 Ajaccio and who has just come back from the ACN-Algeria). That trio cost some 7-8m euros, which is unthinkable for any other team at this level, Rivière will form a fearsome strike trio along with Germain and Touré, who already have 22 goals between them this season, the other pair should tighten up a defence which has conceded 50% more goals than the other two teams in the promotion spots. Obbadi played 30 minutes from off the bench at home to Guingamp last Saturday and made a big impact assisting for the late equalisier, the other two should make their debuts this evening.

All season ASM have been stronger on the road where they are 6-2-2 and where they can play

The rest of this preview can be read on the clubgowi website, take a look and whilst you are there, don't forget to sign up for the clubgowi free newsletter service.

Good Luck.

Saturday morning update .....

Big day for me yesterday, over six points profit on five Ligue 2 selections , one of which, Laval was posted on the clubgowi website in mid afternoon, so I am assuming most/all of you got to see that, they won 3-0.

I feel genuinely excited about the direction we are taking with clubgowi and honestly think that the newsletter has evolved into a fantastic product. At present there is also a time limited offer which is so good, I do not want to openly discuss it, but which is basically a completely free 240 euros for blog readers/ followers. You will already have received it if you recently signed up to the clubgowi (occasional) free newsletter, but if not and you are interested, send an email to us at , with the one word subject title "offer" and I will forward details.

Don''t forget, the mighty Bees are on ITV at midday tomorrow, live from Stamford Bridge ..... one or two big names will not be able to sleep tonight !

Photo is of Brentford legend Jackie Graham, boy did I have a "man cush" on him as a lad ! My brother and I spent three years "stalking" him, before the word had even been invented ! We took this photograph and it was about the furthest we let him get away on matchdays !

Good Luck.

Europa League ........

There is a new post on the clubgowi website and some basic stats which might help point you towards the winner of this season's Europa League.

If you scroll right down to the bottom of that post, there is also some very valuable news, but please don't tell anyone else.

Good Luck.

Free offers .....

Anyone who has registered for the free newsletter on the clubgowi website will receive a bonus this weekend with a number of free emails and match previews. To be included, all you need to do is complete the very basic sign up form on the clubgowi website, it takes seconds.

Good Luck.

Sunday, February 03, 2013

I have finally recovered from the 3-0 beating that Yeovil Town subjected the mighty Bees to yesterday, something strange happens to my beloved Brentford whenever they enter the county of Somerset and thankfully we do not have to play the Glovers again this season !

Both emails are sent today and I can now have a relaxing afternoon, resting up before the Superbowl, where we are sweating on a massive payday.

I am going to post a preview or two on the clubgowi website later this afternoon, with a selection maybe even two at really nice odds, so please check it out.

Also, whilst there, sign up to the occasional free newsletter, it takes seconds and there will be a package worth circa 200 euros sent to all who have registered,  this coming week.

Good Luck.

Saturday morning update.....

I hope that you all got to see the preview on the clubgowi website yesterday, it was a little shorter than my usual notes, but Le Havre won 3-0 so hard to be picky.

Extra bonus today for those readers who have signed up to the occasional free newsletter service, ,as they have already received a Championship preview for this afternoon's action.

If you check the blog out regularly, but have not yet signed up for the free newsletter, that is frankly crazy, it is free, takes 20 seconds and will deliver some previews to your inbox that you are taking time to try to find here, or more likely on the website. Cover all your bases and sign up as soon as possible. It will not get you access to all the clubgowi output, you can only get that by subscribing, but it will mean that you will get to see as much as there is, of the free to view content.

Actually, there is a lot of additional and useful information about my notes on the subscriber page, starting with "How Everything Works" and I urge you all to read that.

Good Luck.
